“Thorndale” was originally a stable, then a warehouse, and now a condo renovation and addition. LGA is the architect of this 30,000 SF, 21 unit residential project on West 45th Street. Our quick contribution of zoning, schematic design and unit layouts helped our client move forward with phased permits and construction. The project prides itself on the details celebrating modern comfort as well as the raw aesthetics of exposed one hundred year old wood beams and brick walls. A glazed back wall will bring in ample light into the southern units and a sixth-floor penthouse addition will complete the building alteration.
