Research, design, resolution and implementation:
it’s more than a mantra; it’s how we work. By keeping the focus off the architect and on the architecture we create projects that succeed both spatially and functionally.

From its founding in 1997 Lynn Gaffney Architect, PLLC. has believed that each project presents specific challenges and goals. By celebrating those challenges instead of viewing them as obstacles - LGA creates a unique and tailored solution for each client and produces a range of work diverse in scale, program, spatial qualities and aesthetic styles. Great effort is taken to honor the history in every renovation, the story untold in each new concept and the record of environmental responsibility in each decision.

Rather than commit to a style, LGA is committed to combining the talents of the client, consultants, contractor and craftspeople and leading them through all phases of the design and construction process. Working with a client’s programmatic and aesthetic desires, while stretching the possibilities of both, we ensure each conception is attainable by grounding them in the realities of budgets and construction methods.
